In this beginner tutorial you will learn how to do a handstand pushup. Handstand push ups are one of the major calisthenics exercises you should master. In order to do a proper handstand push up, you need to build the required strength. Pike push ups are a great exercise to introduce overhead strengthening. Once improved, begin working on handstand push up eccentrics using a wall. Another useful exercise to employ is the partial range of motion handstand pushup.
Once you work through the above progressions, you’ll be able to do chest to wall handstand pushups.
